HYAS Point is the first of a multi-phased community development located along the Columbia River in the town of Washougal, Washington.

Phase one consisted of four mixed use commercial and residential buildings. The HYAS Point Project was a fast paced, quick start, and when approached by LMC with the opportunity, Conco faced the challenge head on, and completed the project over a month ahead of schedule.

Conco provided the following services: pumping, formwork and forming, rebar and post tension for concrete footings, shotcrete shearwalls, CIP columns, stem walls and elevated PT Decks.

In late April 2021, Conco Companies poured a mat foundation for the 1000 Virginia project, a 45-story mixed use tower that is part of the Cornish College of the Arts Centennial Labs building. This tower, which was developed by NASH – Holland Boren & Virginia Investors, requires full concrete services including pumping, formwork, and reinforcement.

When completed, 1000 Virginia will include 454 residential units and 1,000 sf of retail space. It will also include 6 levels of underground and 3 levels of aboveground parking to accommodate 242 vehicles and 397 bicycles. Conco is on track to complete our portion of the job in October 2022, making this our 6th 40+ story tower on the Seattle skyline.

Bremerton is only a ferry ride from downtown Seattle. As such, it’s a city that many people visit when they want to get out of the city. Marina Square will be a welcomed addition to the Bremerton Waterfront, attracting both tourists and locals to the downtown area. The new complex will feature three parking levels, apartments, a restaurant, a bar, and an upscale hotel. The entire complex will be divided into a southern and northern tower – one dedicated to residential living, the other to the hotel. The Conco Companies has completed level L4. L5 will be completed by the end of March.

The Conco Companies will provide concrete finishing, concrete pumping, reinforcing, formwork, trucking, and shotcrete for the project. Compass Construction chose The Conco Companies for our ability to provide top-level concrete services in larger construction projects. The Conco Companies offers an extensive range of concrete services for commercial and industrial applications such as shotcrete, formwork, reinforcement, finishing, and pumping.

The Conco Companies is returning to Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) Airport once again teaming up with Clark Construction. Conco’s Northwest division will provide concrete services to build the 450,000 sq. ft. International Arrivals Facility (IAF) building on the east side of the South Terminal Expansion (Concourse A). The new Arrivals facility will help the airport manage the increasing demand for international flights. The project also includes a 900 ft long aerial passing bridge over the existing taxi lane at a height of 85 feet (allowing planes to travel beneath) to connect arriving international passengers at the south satellite terminal to the top of Concourse A and the new space.

The aerial bridge components will be prefabricated off-site and installed within a seven-day time frame. The construction activities are taking place in an active area of the airport, requiring an additional level of coordination – and patience – for all involved.
