The Conco Companies recently completed work on the Brooklyn Basin Parcel B Project, a 7-story market-rate apartment building by developer/owner, Signature Development Group. In addition to the 241 housing units, the building will include 3,000 square feet of ground floor commercial tenant space and 241 parking spaces. Located at the corner of Brooklyn Basin Way and 9th Street, it is another phase of the Brooklyn Basin project that encompasses 64 acres along the Oakland Estuary south of Jack London Square and west of Interstate 880. The entire project is a mix of residential, retail and commercial, civic, and parks and open space.
Conco’s responsibilities on the project include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, shotcrete, and Confoam services. During the project we expect to place 19,850 cubic yards of Confoam and 8,500 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete. We are also providing 1,400,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement.
