The Conco Companies is providing a full range of concrete services for the 600 El Camino Real Project from the Millbrae based owner/developer Central Peninsula Development, LLC. The project is a 3-story mixed use building that includes 10,700 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space on the ground level with one, two and three-bedroom condominiums on the upper levels (32 residential units in all). The approximately 0.9 acres property also includes underground basement parking for residents, street parking for commercial vehicles, a courtyard and a landscaped rear yard.
Conco’s responsibilities on the project include providing concrete pumping, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and shotcrete services. During the project we expect to place 4,400 cubic yards of concrete as well as shotcrete along with 392 cubic yards of Confoam. We are also providing 375,000 pounds of rebar and post tension reinforcement. We started the job in March 2017 and will finish in February 2018. Central Peninsula Development expects the building to be open for residents sometime in fall or the winter of 2018.
